“Towards a Greener Future – ARIT VRU with the G-Green Gold Award”

ARIT has been awarded the G-Green Gold (Excellent Level) Award
by the Department of Climate Change and Environment, under the Ministry of
Natural Resources and Environment, as part of the “233 G-Green” recognition program.

This honor was presented to the Academic Resource and Information Technology Center,
Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University under the Royal Patronage,
as a role model for Thai enterprises in driving towards a low-carbon economy and society.

The Academic Resource and Information Technology Center has received the G-Green Gold Award (Excellent Level)
from the Department of Climate Change and Environment, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.

This award recognizes organizations that are environmentally friendly and committed to sustainability.

The award ceremony was held on March 26, 2025,
at Centra by Centara Government Complex Hotel & Convention Centre, Chaeng Watthana,
presided over by Mr. Jatuporn Buruspat, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.

On this occasion, ARIT also received the Green Office Certification for 2024 (Excellent Level – Gold).

The award was received by Asst. Prof. Taksina Wilailux, Director of ARIT,
together with Asst. Prof. Montip Jankaew, Asst. Prof. Atcharawan Sukkert,
Deputy Directors, and staff representatives.

In total, 233 organizations and establishments nationwide were honored in this award cycle.

The Green Office Excellent Award was the result of ARIT’s environmental
and energy conservation policy, announced on January 30, 2022.

Since then, ARIT has actively participated in the program and collaborated
with Able Consultant Co., Ltd. to systematically develop its green office practices.

This initiative not only helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions,
but also promotes staff engagement in environmental conservation and efficient resource usage.

It serves as a model for other university departments,
supporting the goal of achieving net-zero carbon emissions.

This recognition reflects ARIT’s commitment to
creating a positive environment for staff and service users.

It also reinforces Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University’s vision of sustainable
development and social responsibility,
in line with the principles of the circular economy and green economy.

The focus is on efficient resource utilization and minimizing environmental impact.
