VRU provides training and fundamental knowledge for local communities to make healthy and sustainable living. This can be classified to 3 types of project as follows:

Educational Development Project
VRU focuses on teacher development and teaching and learning management. This is the core strength of the university since VRU originated from a teacher college and has a demonstration school as a model school. VRU believes that “Education is security” and hence, the projects in this area have been implemented.

Health Promotion Project
VRU has organised a number of health promotion projects including students health promotion projects operated by individual faculty and health promotion programs under the U2T project. These are the 2 main activities that have been implemented in 48 sub-districts and other related activities have been implemented in 9 sub-districts using Rajabhat Strategic Budget for Local Development such as growing herbal plants, making herbal compress and the activities related to coping with Covid-19.

Fundamental Infrastructure Tearning Project
VRU has organized 2 main activities relating to the Fundamental Infrastructure Tearning Project and implemented these activities in 48 sub-districts. There are also other related activities that have been implemented in 9 sub-districts using Rajabhat Strategic Budget for Local Development including basic waterworks training project and basic electrical training project.
