Water recycling program implementation

Wastewater treatment system of Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University under royal patronage.  There is a polices for water recycling, The university has 2 wastewater treatment systems.: activated sludge system and Constructed Wetland system. After passing through the water treatment system, the water is drained into ponds around campus. Water resource management projects include water recycling plans. The university monitors water quality every month. To reuse > 50% water recycled of water after passing through the wastewater treatment system. (approximately 22,500 liters/week) :

  1. Watering the plants and watering the lawn
  2. Cleaning cement floors and roads
  3. Cleaning the garbage shelter

Reusing water by mixing it with rainwater in a total of 14 rainwater collection ponds to experiment with raising fish in cages.  And there is a process to divert water to rice planting plots. lotus planting plots, etc. The university can reuse water in an average amount of 1,080,000 liters/year
